Thank you for visiting my website! I am a Boston native who grew up moving frequently, and I developed a passion and love for working and interacting with animals. Throughout college, I began working with animals via services like Rover and Wag. Over time, I transitioned into a canine daycare manager, while also developing and maintaining a small clientele of personal dog-related services outside my job and studies. I currently volunteer as an Animal Welfare Specialist at the MSPCA-Angell shelter.
I am graduating from Northeastern University as part of the 2024 class with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, concentrating in Applied Behavioral Analysis. My approach is rooted in the principles of Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) methods, supplemented by positive reinforcement techniques. I prioritize fostering an environment that cultivates trust, respect, and understanding between the dog and their owner. By focusing on positive reinforcement, I aim to motivate desired behaviors through rewards such as treats, praise, and play, rather than relying on punishment-based methods. I believe in empowering dogs to make good choices and in fostering a cooperative partnership based on clear communication and mutual trust!
